About our Chapter

WHO WE ARE:

The purpose of the Alameda Chapter:

  • To provide opportunities for MOAA members who live in Alameda County and vicinity to serve the community and support local Veterans events.

  • To support ROTC programs in or near Alameda County.

  • To be an effective local advocate for relevant Veterans or national security issues of concern to us, as military officers, by using our professional knowledge and experience as officers of our armed forces to be thoughtful leaders and influencers in our community on these issues.

  • To provide opportunities to share camaraderie with fellow officers.

WHAT WE DO

The Alameda County Chapter:

  • Serves as a local advocate for relevant Veterans or natonal security through legislative liaison.

  • Promotes social events where fellow military officers may socialize.

  • Conducts or participates in fund raising for scholarships for ROTC Cadets.
