We are delighted to share that the Elizabeth Dole Foundation will be featured on this Sunday’s episode of CBS 60 Minutes*. Senator Dole and I, along with a valued member of our team and caregiver to her husband, Liz Rotenberry, sat down for extensive interviews with Scott Pelley for this piece.  

We’re excited that a national news program of 60 Minutes caliber has decided to highlight military and veteran caregivers, but more importantly, underscore the impact of war and caregiving at home on children and families. Liz and her family, including her son, Kris, have openly shared their story and experiences as caregivers. In addition, we are happy to share that a second family supported by our great partners at Our Military Kids will be featured as well.  

We are so thankful to both families for their participation in this piece, as well as our incredible lead partner, Wounded Warrior Project, and all the members of the Hidden Helpers Coalition who work so hard to create meaningful impact in the lives of military caregiving families.
