Alameda MOAA Membership
Our Mission
- To provide MOAA members, who live in Alameda County, opportunities to serve the community and support local Veterans events.
- To support ROTC programs in or near Alameda County.
- To be an effective local advocate for military personnel matters and especially proposed legislation affecting the career force, the retired community, and veterans of the uniformed services. Veteran or national security issues of concern to us, as military officers, by using our professional knowledge and experience as officers of our armed forces to be thoughtful leaders and influencers in our community on these issues.
- To provide opportunities to share camaraderie with fellow officers.

Membership
Membership is open to active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, and former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the following uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Auxiliary membership is also available for surviving spouses of deceased officers.
